TaskDesign and produce something with a digital fabrication process (incorporating computer-aided design and manufacturing) not covered in another assignment.byFlow food printerWell for this week we have decided to use a byFlow food printer to print something with MarzipanOkay first thing thath we have to do is to download the Sli3er software, to print the food with this printer. And the settings for the nozzle that we will use for our purposes. Well we have choosen the 2nd from the right. Now after we have started the software, we have to load the configurations that we have downloaded, to proceed go to "File" -> "Load Config..."Well now import the object that you have made, in my case it is a bycicle. And export it as Gcode. Now we have to upload the code to the machine, in order to proceed, we have to turn th machine on. After there you will see an additional connection available in the connection list(in my case it is byFlow_AE5814). Join the conncetion with the password. Then open the browser and connect to the following IP adress: 192.168.0.1 . And you will enter this page. Press "next"So here you can upload you GCode.Okay now we have to prepare the material to work with, in our case it is marzipanPlace it into the tube and try to avoid any bubbles. Now you have to place the tube to the PasteHead. After you have placed the PasteHead back to the machine, you will have this notification on the machine displayOkay now we have to home the machine, to proceed go to "movement" and press "Home XYZ"The machine will home over this gray button. Now we can print. Go to the "Print" menu and select the name of the GCode that you have uploadad to the webpageAfter this you will see this window. Now press "Tune" to adjust the printing settings. So here we have to be vary carefull at the beginning, because we don't have the pressure, after we have placed the tude into the PasteHead. That's we have to start with the printing speed of 10 or 20% adn increase it up to 200% according to the material flow. You can also see how much % of the Gcode the machine has already executedPrinting xDWell here I have printed my bike standing, to see how the printig looks like at the bridges. So what I have discovered for my self is that the slicer doesn't make any support, so that the material fallse down. Here you can see my bike printed laying. You can also wee the material flow from the printing nozzle caused by the pressure after the printing.
