Tempreture control with cartridge heater and thermocouple
I tried hotend tempreture control with cartridge heater and thermocouple. Cartridge heater can raise its tempreture up to 400℃. But the hot end itself only got up to 200℃.(It needs about 300℃ to melt plastic bottels) The reason is thought as follows.
2018.3.14
- clearnce of hole is too big. I used 6.5mm drill and cartridge heater's diameter is 6.25mm. So, gap is 0.25mm.
- hot end is too big to heat...
- cartridge heater' power is too weeak
