Resin

Following picture is the resin that we used. This resin is hardened by mixing hardener. The time for become solid is about 3 hours.

Failure

Following picture is the tools and materials that we use.

Some test coupones are made at first.
But after waiting 3 hours, those coupons did not become solid. The cause was considered to be insufficient stirring. We were using a small container, so We could not vigorously stir it. So, we changed the container for stir.

Coupons

We made test coupons with the fibers what each person would use, and its strength was confirmed. The compaction ones were compressed with a clamp.

After making those coupon, we recognized that the hardness was insufficient with one layer of fabric. And non-compaction was not uniform in thickness.

We all selected compression, and several layers because of uniformity and strength.
