In this assignment we will be machining parts of my final project:


External contouring of 80mm foam with the Shopbot







Pocket milling in wood

The sacrifical plate of the Shopbot was used and abused...

I needed to make a new holding system, possibly with clamps rather than glue-gun.




Now we can mill!

The shotbot Z_zero procedure seems bugged: it leads to delta of about -0.8mm.
That explain why the sacrificial was in such a bad shape: users compensate their Cut-Through-All machining by adding extra mm in the depth machining target.
