Servo Butterfly Robot
I try to make a flapper, specifically, a butterfly that only fly in the indoor environments. Most of the common flapping machines use brushless motors as a power engine, but I want to use servos. The reason is this allows my robot to fly more like a real butterfly. I'm going to use Arduino as a control and 2.4g module as the communication system.
Here are some similar projects that I found and it's also the reason that inspired me to make a flapping butterfly robot.
Ultralight flying objects with collective behaviour. With the bionic butterflies, for the first time Festo combines the ultralight construction of artificial insects with collision-free flying behaviour in a collective. For coordination purposes, the eMotionButterflies make use of a guidance and monitoring system, which could be used in the networked factory of the future. eMotionButterflies
