Fab Lab Aachen

Fab Lab Aachen is Germany's first Fab Lab, founded in 2009. It's part of the Media Computing Group, a research lab in the computer science department at RWTH Aachen University. We're dedicated to educating students and visitors about personal fabrication, and to conducting research into new and better user interfaces and design tools for personal fabrication. Fab Lab Aachen has been hosting Fab Academy since 2016 as Germany's first university node in collaboration with Kamp-Lintfort and Bottrop.
