Concept

Green Fab Lab Akld is a to-become community fabrication lab with a sustainable focus, where you can make (almost) anything using digital fabrication tools. Learn analog and digital skills to make whatever takes your fancy.

Be creative. Be bold. Be crazy.

We think sharing designs widely and be mindful of the environment is paramount, so we push for the use of local resources, open-source softwares and Creative Commons Licenses.

Memberships

With 24/7 access to the resources of the Lab, members can work on their own projects, for any purposes (including professionaly).

From 3pm to 6pm, Open curriculum sessions are offered to teach the practical skills of digital fabrication and creative thinking to young makers.

initial preparations

Location, training, Legal Status, Sponsors and Supporters The right amount of paperwork and training to start the project on the right foot. Fab Lab Auckland is a Registered Charity. Trained at Fab Lab Barcelona, which also host a Green Fab Lab.
