About Yi-Pin Huang

Hi, I am Yi-Pin Huang from Taiwan, the Kingdom of Manufacture. From 2006 to 2009, I studied in graduate school of computational design in and that was really an eye-opener for me. At that time, I was very interested in interaction design and physical computing so I spent most of time learning how to program and joining as many design workshops as I can. I love learning by doing. In May 2013, I bought a 3D printer made by average person and set up in my living room. That is how I started to get the idea of people can make things they want. For me, print something is easy, but print workable thing is not. There is a big gap between digital and atom. In Fab Academy, I would like to learn how to manipulate the digital fabrication tools and make good designs by practicing.
