I lerned about composit.Assignment
This week's assignment is making something that use composit.
1.make mold
First I made a mold. I used a 3D CAD, Design spark Mechanical.
It was comvinient and free software.
I measured a size of lamp. Then I created a 3D model. And, I put out STL file.
After that I put the STL file into "123D Make".
I got a 2D development, PDF file. I cut 2.5mm MDF board by lasercutter.

Assembled them. It was may be enough strong... When I twisted I thought.

2.composit
After I made mold, I prepared materials for composit. I bought a bottle of resin, curative agent, and wool.

I mixed resin and curative agent by a correct ratio. I dipped wool in mixed resin. It was becomeing hard from 5 min. And It become completery hard after 1 hour.

I put dipped wool aroud the mold I made.

And I set a vacuum cleaner and turnd it on.

After 12 hour, I remove vinyl bag and mold from wool. I got a ...terrible result...

I set the composited wool lamp shade to the lamp. It suited to the lamp!

I could make composited wool as a lamp shade. It was hard to work within the short time untill getting resin hard.
And I used garbage bag instead of vacuum bag. But it was not enough sealing...
