Schnyder - Computer-Aided Design: A Survey of Free 2D and 3D Tools

I used SketchUp to draw a design for a plywood flywheel. The flywheel has the following characteristics:

1. An outer diameter of 10 inches
2. A maximum thickness of 3/4 inch. My idea was that this flywheel would be cut out of a single piece of 3/4 inch plywood. This might not be practical, but this is just an exercise.
3. Three radial spokes, evenly spaced, and each sweeping 30 degrees. The spokes thickness is 1/4" and is centered on the flywheel.
4. A central hub with a 2 inch diameter and thickness of 3/4 inch. The hub has a 1/2 inch diameter hole in its center.

It starts with SketchUp, because I know it best. I have used Sketchup to model parts of my house and to plan renovation and occupation of office space.
