About

My name is Maziar Motlagh. I was born in 1983 in Tehran-Iran. In 2001 entered the Art University of Isfahan-Iran to start my education in Architecture. From the early years at the university I started my part time job as draftsperson in an architectural office. From that time on I have been involved in numerous projects in which I played different roles from drafting and design to site and project management. In 2007 I moved to the UK to pursue my Masters degree in architecture. Currently finishing final stages of my PhD course in Architecture at the University of Strathclyde. My research is highly related to digital design and building production strategies. Hopefully the ‘Fab Academy’ course will give me a chance to apply my theoretical knowledge in practice.
