Week 7

I need to get some tires for my robot, which I am doing as my final project. Since I was not able to find suitable ones in local shops, I decided to mold them.

Here is the design of the mold:

I made the mold using Modela Player 4 software out of wax.

Here how it looks:

After pouring urethane rubber into the mold I got these two nice tires:

Installed on wheels:

They fit well and the traction is awesome!
