This week I ended up making two of the output boards. My first attempt was to make the DC motor board. Milling and  stuffing went easy enough, programing the make file resulted in only errors and frustration, in attempting to fix the errors, which told me to check connections I reversed the cables which lead to installing the power cable wrong and the regulator smoking. Not being sure if the board was any good I replaced only the regulator and got the same message. I then decided that there were too many possible combinations of cable connections and too much possibility that the entire board was fried to continue with this board and made a new one, the LED array. I was informed later that the computer that I was trying to use to program the board has the wrong version of Linux. The LED array worked on the first try except for some soldering errors that prevented 4 LEDs from lighting, these along with one small trace I removed by mistake were corrected. After repair the board worked with out fault.
