All the sessions begin with a debate about our performance in our previous works and what are our ideas about future
works.
In this session we created something together, a mini-cabinet, safeguarding the use of two machines, Laser Cutting and Vinyl. It was an interesting work because we could only work in performing various tasks: cutting in two the
wood and acrylic materials, the use of vinyl and laser engraving, and rewarding, because we also saw the difficulty
exists when joining dissimilar materials such as wood and acrylic.
Another innovation was the use of new software -
INVENTOR, a new experience, but I still bet on SOLIDWORKS. For this reason, in my individual work, used the solidworks.
Material used was acrylic.
The work was to design a business card holder. Some tests were performed using ftimber for this purpose, until I get a good result with regard to the fittings.
