The following pictures are a series of progress pictures. A full update will be available later in the week.
The project was delayed due to waiting on parts to come in from the long weekend. The lower capacity resistors that I needed in order to drive 2 amp motors for the CNC did not come in until yesterday afternoon and as soon as I put them in I went to testing the MTM Snap Shield. The Sheild and Arduino worked with one another but in the process of hooking up a motor to the shield the wrong wires on the motor were used. This caused the motor to short out the board and create a small 2 inch tall flame. Nothing other than the shield was damaged.
With the MTM Snap Shield dead (the magic smoke was released!) I continued forward in finishing the fabrication of the machine.
The following pictured will show a each part of the machine coming together.
To get a better idea of size, I placed the small Fluxamamantis ontop of the bed.
More updates and a full break down of cost and videos of the machine in action will be coming soon!
