Final Project Proposal

For my final project I want to build a modular lighting system Powered by a Dewalt 18v rechargable battery. The system will consist of 4 light pucks with a magnetic base and a battery connector.

System requirements

• Magnetic base capable of supporting a single puck on a nail or screw head.
• Retractable cord which allows a minimum of a 6' distance between pucks.
• 10 to 12 LEDs per puck.
• Must be able to power 1 to 4 pucks alone or in series.
• Must be dimmable for power conservation.
• Impact resistant housing
