Sketches & Concept
Based on Kyle McDonald's project called 'DIY 3D controler'. My final draft is to make an interface 3d capable of capturing the movements of the hand and/or stylus, in order to draw the object in space directly in three dimensions. So that it draws a line in space as you go by defining the path of your movements. Finally, this line could be exported to a file '.stl' to be printed in a 3D printer directly.
the first prototype I made with common materials such as cardboard and copper. The idea was just to see if it worked.
This prototype was made with the idea of a sandwich, by the outer two plates were metraquilato and inside a copper and a latex, which function to isolate the interference from outside.
This was a test to see if I could make a silicone mold. The idea was to make the device very malleable and durable. All in one piece.
To work on the prototype using arduino and Fritzing to design the circuit on the breadboard.

I download the code from Kyle McDonald, and played around with it. At the moment the hand motion is recognized perfectly.
Now I want to save these movements points to draw lines between them, and thus, have the drawing in space
Parallel to Processing, I worked on a definition of Firefly (Grasshopper plugin).
